Yo! I'm very excited by the new Massive X from Native Instruments. In this video I did a quick demo and I'm really impressed by the sound of it. Most people use it for those hard club oriented sounds that the original Massive is famous for. But here I wanted to see if it fits my style which is synth heavy but soulful beats with a strong funk groove and a bass line.
I had to make the bass and the lead patches on the spot and they sounded fine, especially the bass. The oscillators can do so much and the filters are awesome, especially the Monark filter.
