President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China witness the exchange of several agreements during the latter’s State Visit to the Philippines at the Malacañan Palace on November 20, 2018.
The agreements focus on the fields of business, infrastructure, trade and industry, peace and stability, and people-to-people exchanges.
According to Presidential Spokesperson and Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Secretary Salvador Panelo, the Chinese President’s visit to the country is an opportunity “to further strengthen and sustain bilateral relations between the two nations.”
After the exchange of agreements, President Duterte and President Xi Jinping shall deliver their joint press statements.
